Snow Play FAQ
What are your hours on snow tubing?
We are open everyday from 10am to 4pm for the
day session EXCEPT Christmas day we open at
11:00am to 4:00pm. Our night sessions we are
open from 5pm to 9pm. Except during the holiday
period we are open Every night December 18th –
January 9th excluding December 24th and
December 25th Then on Friday & Saturday nights
only after January 15th
Where can I find out information on
hotels/lodging?
The choice is yours! Big Bear Lake offers a wide
variety of comfortable accommodations for every
taste and every budget -- cozy cabins, lodges,
hotels, motels, bed and breakfast inns, private
homes and condominiums. For more information
about Southern California's nearby, four seasons
enchantment, please call The Big Bear Lake
Resort Association's Visitor Information Services at

How are the road conditions?
Mountain weather can change dramatically on
very short notice. For current road conditions,
call 1.800.427.ROAD (1.800.427.7623).
What should I wear?
Dress for winter weather! Wear a hat, gloves, and
snow pants if you prefer. As always, the best way
to stay warm is to dress in layers, which allows the
removal of clothing if you become warm, and the
addition of clothing if the temperature drops.
Bring sunscreen, lip balm and skin moisturizers.
The sun reflects off the snow during cloudy and
sunny days!
Do I Need to bring my own equipment?
No we provide your inner tuber. It is included in the
price of the ticket.
DO I NEED TO BE A CERTAIN AGE TO
SNOW TUBE?
Yes, in order to participate in snow tubing, you
must be at least 2 years old. Children between the
age of 2 to 6 ride free with a paying adult 18 years
of age or older and must ride on the same inner
tube with the adult. One on one adult supervision.
One adult per child.
What if I am pregnant?
Sorry pregnant woman are not allowed pass the
gate.
What if I just want to take pictures of my
friends/family?
You must have a ticket to go pass the gate.
DO YOU HAVE GROUP RATES?
All groups must be pre booked. Please call for
more information.
All riders will be required to review and sign an
electronic release of liability and assumption of
risk waiver at the ticket booth before tubing,
and those individuals under age 18 will need
the additional signature of a parent or legal
guardian.
