Our Snow Play Hill is closed for the 2007/2008 Season.

Magic Mountain's snow playhill, winter recreation area in Southern California to open, usually in early November.
Big Bear’s second tubing hill, at the famous Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, opened Thanksgiving Day with four runs operating. Alpine Slide snow play hills increased their snow making capacity 25% in the off-season, primarily so they could open more runs earlier in the season. Snow making built base depths in excess of 30 feet last year. Getting to the top of the snow is easy, since they have Magic Carpet uphill lift that is even covered in Plexiglas for guest comfort. Alpine Slide, home of the signature bobsled-like experience of the same name, is famous for its “Snake” patterned after a slope style track that takes sliders through a series of high-banked turns. Friday, Saturday and holiday see night tubing sessions beginning Nov. 23 from 5-9 p.m. As tubers get the unique experience of sliding through the shadows under the lights on snow that gets faster as the evening progresses. **Children between the age of 2 to 6 ride free with a paying adult 18 years of age or older and must ride on the same inner tude with the adult. One on one adult supervision. One adult per child at all times. Snow Play with Magic Carpet Unlimited Day Pass $22.00 per person Daily 10am-4pm OUR NIGHT SESSION IS OVER FOR THE SEASON
